Remote Start Operation
Make sure all the doors and windows are closed, that the vehicle is locked, and that it is in a safe location. Hold the key button on the remote for 3 seconds, it will flash green and beep when the vehicle receives the command. After a few seconds it will beep and flash green again to let you know that the vehicle has started. The vehicle will run for 15 minutes (time can be configured to a different time) and then shut off on its own if nothing is done by the operator. The vehicle can be shut off (while under remote start) by holding the key button again for 3 seconds, it will flash red twice and make a short tone to let you know the vehicle has been turned off.
Entering a Vehicle Under Remote Start (Key)
When a vehicle is under remote start and you would like to enter it, you need to unlock it with the G15 remote, and then enter the vehicle. When entering the vehicle, do not press the foot brake yet (the foot brake shuts off the remote start system), insert the ignition key, and turn it two spots, on, instead of three to start. You must do this correctly because you can reengage the starter motor which may damage the vehicle.
Entering a Vehicle Under Remote Start (Push)
When a vehicle is under remote start and you would like to enter it, you need to unlock it with the G15 remote, and then enter the vehicle (once you unlock the vehicle you have 45 seconds to enter it or it will shut off upon brake press). Once inside the vehicle close the door, then press the brake, wait a few seconds, and then put the vehicle in gear and drive away.
